Dunloy Football Club

Set up in 1996, Dunloy FC is an intermediate-level football club playing in the Premier Division of the Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League in NI and the Coleraine morning league.  They have also been trialling an over-35s team for ex-players/members and older people within the community – trying to get them active and offer a general sense of purpose.  And have huge aspirations of developing a youth section for the coming season.  With this in mind, the Club sought funding to improve facilities at McCamphill Park where the existing teams play home games and train throughout the week – in particular their goal nets which (after some 10+ years of use) are in a state of disrepair.  George Duddy congratulated the Club on winning the league last year, and he was supportive of any funding that would help keep them at the top of their game.  The Committee agreed a grant of £1,000 to replace the goal nets and support stanchions.
