Moyola Park AFC Youth, Magherafelt

Established in 2009 to meet the ever-increasing demands of young boys and girls living in the South Londonderry area for association football and recreational activities, Moyola Park AFC currently has some 200 members and teams representing the club from U8s through to U16s.  The Club sought funding to replace some of their existing and heavily used plastic small-sided games goalposts with modern and age-specific portable weighted goalposts, which can be rolled on and off the pitch as required.  Cllr McGuigan believed the Club was very worthy of support due to their engagement with young people and the local community in general.  On this note, the Committee agreed a grant of £750 obo The Drapers’ Company.
