3rd Coleraine Brownies

Reaching their centenary year in March 2023, the 3^rd Coleraine Brownies have been completing monthly activities to recognise this fantastic achievement.  They plan to celebrate with an afternoon tea in a local hotel for all current members (14 girls, two leaders and one young leader) and intend to have an official sweatshirt and scarf made – embroidered with a badge designed by one of their young members.  The Brownies sought funding towards a range of commemorative items, including a personalised unit flag, carrying pole and bag plus engraved plaque; new personalised unit scarves; centenary badges and unit hoodies.  The Committee agreed to award an Irish Society grant of £1,000 to meet the estimated cost of all items on their ‘shopping list’.
