Abbie McGlinchey (St Mary’s College, Derry)

Having heard her sing at an event back in the spring, the Governor had offered to help Abbie get tickets to see ‘Anything Goes’ at The Barbican theatre in London.  In addition, to help relieve any financial restraints, the Secretary asked the LAC to consider awarding an individual grant of £250 towards costs associated with the trip to London for Abbie and her mother.  This was agreed without hesitation.
