Acting as an umbrella organisation for both projects, All Saints Parish Church applied for funding towards replacing the hob and oven in the Reloved Charity Shop and Heavenly Kitchen. The kitchen provides meals on the basis of a discreet honesty box four days a week. Councillor McMorris spoke highly of the group and their work, confirming that all food is prepared and served by volunteers from the Church. On her recommendation, the Committee agreed an HIS grant of £500 (as quoted by Maydown Electrics) for the purchase and installation of a new hob and oven.
