Ardstraw Football Club, Newtownstewart

Operating strictly on a non-profit making basis, Ardstraw FC’s core purpose is to enable the local community to actively participate in sport – creating a progressive pathway for sustained involvement for all age groups from youth to elderly.  They currently have 150 registered players plus 30 voluntary coaches and 50 other volunteers.  The Club sought funding towards the purchase of 18 senior warm-up jackets, a squad kit and four match footballs to alleviate some of the financial pressures they face at this difficult time.  The Committee recognised this was a large club for such a small geographical area and was content to award a grant of £700 obo The Drapers’ Company.
