Ardstraw Presbyterian Bowling Club

Founded in 1968 – and open/inclusive to all, regardless of age, gender, ability, etc, Ardstraw Bowling Club has seen an increase in the number of individuals keen to give bowls a try and now has members who have mobility issues and struggle to bend.  They applied for funding towards equipment that will enable those experiencing difficulty to continue to take part and enjoy the sport.  The Committee had no hesitation in awarded an HIS grant of £478 to cover the cost of two DHB Hacksaw Lawn Bowls Bowling Arms (as the Club had requested).
