Ballyclare Comrades Boys Academy FC

Ballyclare Comrades offers young people in the community and beyond the opportunity to participate in football development sessions and compete in various league structures and cup competitions throughout the year.  The Academy sought funding towards new equipment required as part of the merger with another local club, Ballyclare Colts, which will provide a pathway for youngsters from the age of five up to 18.  Learning that the programme also encourages personal development; teaches softer skills such as empathy, compassion, dedication and commitment; as well as harnessing inter-personal skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication, the Committee happily approved a Clothworkers’ grant of £1,000.
