Ballyspallen Cricket Club, Limavady

Already providing a range of sporting, educational and social activities to its members and the local community, Ballyspallen CC has formed the only ladies’ cricket club in the Roe Valley area.  A ladies’ committee has also been set up to oversee the smooth running of their section and, having been using ‘hand-downs’ from the men, they sought funding to purchase their own equipment.  The Committee readily agreed an HIS grant of £800 towards the purchase of protective gear (helmets, batting gloves and wicket pads).
