Bangor Chiefs Inline Hockey Club

Based in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Bangor Chiefs Inline Hockey Club aims to offer accessible, affordable and high quality opportunities to everyone/anyone to benefit from inline hockey activities and promotes participation in amateur sports within their local community.  Having enjoyed success at an international level, the Club is keen to support its growing teenage membership – providing a pathway for continual improvement, expanding the skills of each player and increasing their physical and mental well-being – and sought funding towards the purchase of six full kits.  Learning the cost of various items (including helmets and face cages, elbow pads and shin guards, gloves and girdles) to ensure the youngsters are suitably and safely attired, the Committee was content to approve a grant of £750 from the Clothworkers’ NI Fund.
