Be Safe Be Well Men’s Shed

Established in 2000, Be Safe Be Well Men’s Shed offers personal development opportunities and promotes positive mental health to individuals in the Limavady area regardless of religion, race or age.  Activities are many and varied but, focussing on woodcraft in particular, the group sought assistance with the purchase of lazer ply (ordered in bulk from Russia and Poland for cost effectiveness) for lazer cut crafting.  The Committee acknowledged that the Men’s Shed brought members from different communities together and how they are becoming a more common part of the fabric of life.  And learning that the next order of lazer ply should last for 12 months, approved a grant of £700.
