Also a student at Coleraine Grammar School, Bradley has been selected to represent Northern Ireland in a number of disciplines at the Youth Mixed Martial Arts Federation World Championship (for 12-17 year olds) in Abu Dhabi in August 2022.  But, as this is not a recognised sport, he has to raise approx. £4,000 to pay for his equipment, uniform, travel and accommodation.  Alderman Darren Guy knows Bradley’s trainer (Peter McClay) and commented that he started out small and now has over 40 youngsters under his wing.  He believed most financial support came from parents, and was more than willing to endorse an individual grant of £250 for Bradley – which the Committee was glad to agree.
