Brendan Keogh Youth League, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh

Situated in a very rural and deprived part of Northern Ireland, Brendan Keogh Youth League offers footballing opportunities (competitive leagues, mini soccer festivals and small sided games initiatives) to over 500 boys and girls aged between eight and 18 years of age and living in the Fermanagh and Tyrone areas.  Following delivery of a first aid training course for members, BKYL applied for funding towards the purchase of all-important first aid kits – which will be made available for training sessions, on match days and situated at the clubroom for use by the local community in the event of a medical emergency.  A grant of £500 from the Clothworkers’ NI Fund was approved.
