Established in 1996 to address rural disadvantage, BCDA has been paying for copies at local libraries and printing stations and sought funding towards the purchase of an A3 Colour Multifunction Inkjet printer to advertise events and classes and produce a monthly newsletter to post through letterboxes of those who may not have access to social media. The Association suggested the printer could also be used by other local groups (eg, Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades, Scouts, Playgroups, etc) and the Committee agreed an HIS grant of £1,250.
