Planning to reinstate a series of lunchtime concerts given by local, young up-and-coming musicians, Christ Church Londonderry sought funding towards set-up costs for the initial two seasons of First Wednesday Recitals.  Learning how popular these events had been, and that the series will be part of a wider project devised in collaboration between Ulster University (Magee Campus), Christ Church Londonderry, St Eugene’s RC Cathedral and Londonderry Inner City Trust, the Committee agreed an Irish Society grant of £1,250 towards artists’ fees and essential WiFi and other electronic equipment.
