Coleraine & District Girl Guides Association

Coleraine Guide Hall provides a safe ‘girls only’ space for fun and friendship; challenge and adventure; empowering voices; discovering the best in themselves; and making a positive difference in their community.  The Association sought funding towards replacing redundant wall heaters with ceiling mounted panel heaters.  The Committee was content to offer a grant of £800 towards estimated costs for the project.  In addition, Patricia O’Brien  (Funding Unit Manager at Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council) offered details of a Council programme that might still have residual funds available if the Guides were quick to apply – which will be passed on to the Guides.
