Coleraine Premier Pigeon Club

Planning to undertake an overhaul / improvement of Club facilities, Coleraine Premier Pigeon Club had applied for funding towards repairs to the toilets – removing old bathroom-ware, replacing seats and basins with associated pipework, installing hand driers, plastering and re-tiling/repainting.  The Secretary noted that with only 19 members the Club would have limited resources.  And, learning that the existing toilets are outdated and no longer fit for purpose, the Committee was content to award an Irish Society grant of £900 towards the project.  But recognising the Club’s lack of funds, the Governor suggested offering the full £1,000 requested and this was agreed.
