Currynierin Community Association, Derry

Representing the views and values of their residents, and offering a wide variety of services to the local community, Currynierin Community Association sought funding to facilitate training for a qualified Tutor to lead a two-hour homework club session once a week for 17 weeks.  Set up to help primary school children who have suffered long term effects of Covid and associated lockdowns and have fallen behind in their education, the Committee agreed an HIS grant of £1,000 as requested in the application.
