Derry Tower Heritage Group

For the past ten years, six local historians from Derry Tower Heritage Group have been researching various aspects of the city’s history – currently the remains of a windmill situated in the grounds of Lumen Christi College.  The Group wished to employ the services of a research agent (Dr Susan Moore) to follow up on Latin documents dating back to 1423 that they discovered during their own work and which suggest others may exist in the National Archive and/or British Museum Libraries.  Having self-funded to date, the group now sought financial help to continue their study and a grant of £1,000 was approved.
