Aiming to improve facilities at their purpose-built centre, Dromboughil Community Association applied for funding towards updating / replacing equipment essential to various educational programmes and recreational activities they run on a weekly basis. The Committee understood the need for a range of services aimed at addressing key issues facing members of this rural community and, learning how the centre has become a lifeline to so many, agreed a grant of £1,083 obo The Drapers’ Company to purchase a new iPad, a Sum Up card machine; two six-foot folding tables and 12 conference chairs.
