Dunloy Community Playgroup

The only playgroup catering for pre-school children (two years and 10 months – four years of age), Dunloy Community Playgroup provides a pickup service and direct care for youngsters who have not secured a place in the local nursery unit.  Also offering an after-school club, the community group fills a gap for working parents.  And, in an effort to improve their facilities, the Playgroup sought financial assistance with storage solutions, a new fridge/freezer, tables and chairs and a drying rack.  Recognising the need to help struggling families with the cost of childcare, the Committee awarded an HIS grant of £1,970 (as requested) to cover all the items listed.
