Dunluce Family Centre, Derry

Providing a range of integrated services which support, educate and empower families to develop and grow to meet their full potential, DFS planned to roll out two programmes of ‘Forest School’ to children aged 2-3 years in their creche.  The application form detailed this inspirational learning process that offers opportunities to explore the great outdoors and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on experiences in a natural setting, and the Committee had no hesitation in agreeing an HIS grant of £1,000.
