Win in our 2025 New Year Competition

The Society are hosting a competition in January, February and March of 2025 to gather your pictures and videos of fishing, fish catches that demonstrate great fish welfare as well as drone footages of our great fisheries in Northern Ireland. The schedule for this competition is:

• Jan 2025 – Pictures of fisheries and fish catches on NI Rivers – all entries submitted by 31 January 2025
• Feb 2025 – Video footage of fisheries and fish catches – all entries submitted by 28 February 2025
• March 2025 – Drone footage of fisheries – all footage submitted by 31 March 2025.

Each month, three entrants will be randomly chosen to win a tackle shop voucher for use. The first entrant drawn will receive a £500 voucher; the second entrant drawn will receive a £300 voucher and the third entrant drawn will receive a £200 voucher.

The Honourable The Irish Society Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: The prize draw is open to all anglers who submit pictures and videos of their angling catches on rivers in Northern Ireland. Employees of the Society and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering.
2. Entry Requirements:
   • Each form submitted is equal to one entry for that month’s draw.
   • Each form must include a minimum of one photo or video (depending on the theme of that month’s competition) of an angling catch on rivers in Northern Ireland.
   • Each photo or video must show responsible handling of fish to maximize fish wellbeing.
   • Entries will be excluded where the photo/video does not demonstrate responsible fish handling.
3. Submission Guidelines:
   • Entries must be submitted through the designated online form.
   • Photos and videos must be clear and of good quality.
   • Entries must be submitted by the last day of each month to be eligible for that month’s draw.
4. Draw Period:
   • The draw runs from January 2025 to March 2025.
   • Each month will have a different focus:
     1. January 2025 – still images of responsible catches
     2. February 2025 – videos of responsible catches
     3. Drone footage of fisheries
   • At the start of the following month, a random generator will be used to pull 3 names from the entrants of the previous month.
5. Prize:
   • Each month there are three prizes to win of vouchers for a tackle shop. Voucher values for prizes each month will be £500; £300; £200.
   • The prize winners for each month’s draw will be announced at the beginning of the next month.
   • The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received for that month.
   • The winners will be notified via email within 7 days of the draw.
6. General Conditions:
   • By entering the prize draw, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
   • By entering the draw, participants authorize the Society to use the images/videos in publicity materials and campaigns.
   • The Honourable The Irish Society reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
   • The Honourable The Irish Society reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice.
7. Privacy:
   • Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties.
