Helen Logan, Coleraine

Recently wheelchair-bound after living with spina bifida for 40+ years, Helen now plays wheelchair basketball with the Causeway Giants and has been selected for the 3×3 Northern Ireland Training Team for progression to Commonwealth Games 2026!  Helen needs a specialised Wheelchair Basketball Sports Chair, set of tyres, membership fees and training/playing kit to participate, and applied for funding to support this.  Seeing that Helen also tries to give back to her local club by sharing skills and knowledge learned at the NI training, and was keen to help establish an Under-14 age group in the near future, the Committee agreed an increased individual HIS grant of £500 towards this amazing woman’s fundraising.
