Holy Cross College, Strabane

An all-ability post-primary school, Holy Cross College offers a diverse, flexible and challenging curriculum to almost 1,600 pupils including learning support for those with Special Educational Needs.  And, keen to improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of all, they sought funding for the purchase of new equipment to help develop their outdoor play facilities.  Agreeing that outdoor play improves physical health, enhances social skills, encourages creativity and supports mental wellbeing, the Committee agreed a grant of £1,000 from the NW Schools’ Fund.
