Established in 1998 to improve the social and economic well-being of the local community, Kilcronaghan Community Association provides a range of advice and information facilities, activities, events and classes and courses open to everyone. The community hall is an active hub for local people and many drop in to use laptops, etc. KCA wished to enhance the facilities available by providing a new colour photocopier/printer accessible for all to use – particularly The Writing Group who publish a lot of their work. Councillor Brown was familiar with the Association and confirmed they did very good work within the community. Accordingly, the Committee agreed a grant of £1,000 obo The Drapers’ Company towards to cost of a new photocopier/printer.
