Drawing pupils from a wide catchment, including areas of high socio-economic deprivation, Limavady Grammar School is supported by an experienced pastoral team but sometimes seeks external assistance to help pupils cope with the stresses of life. Since Covid-19 there has been a dramatic increase in demand for counselling services which exceeds what the School can offer, so they applied for funding to pay for extra counselling hours and provide another counselling space. The Committee agreed a grant of £1,000 from the NW Schools’ Fund.
