Maiden City Soccer Academy, Derry

With a substantial membership of some 250 boys and 170+ girls from across Derry, Maiden City Soccer Academy sought funding towards various items of multi-sports equipment to help improve resources available and access to their ‘Football for All’ programme – promoting participation and fun, especially for those not interested in competitive games.  Noting that the Academy had previously received a Clothworkers grant (£10k in 2021 towards the purchase of portable lights), the Committee agreed a grant of £700 in line with other sports clubs.
