North Belfast Youth Choir

Founded in 2015, North Belfast Youth Choir aims to transforming the musical education of post-primary pupils from all communities in the region, broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding and raise aspirations of self and others.  And, having been invited to attend The Lady Mayoress’s Musical Feast at Mansion House (the official home of the Lord Mayor of London), the Choir’s Chairman sought help with the costs of taking 27 choir members, the Choral Director and adult chaperones to the event in the City of London.  Keen to foster positive links between both cities, the Committee had no hesitation in endorsing a grant of £2,500 from the Clothworkers’ NI Fund.
