Portstewart Friends of Guiding

Promoting the education of girls and young women to help them to develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world, Portstewart Guides follow a varied fun and educational programme both indoors and outdoors.  But the flat roof over the storeroom at their Hall needs replacing and the ‘Friends’ applied for help with the cost of this.  The Committee recognised the need for safe/secure premises and agreed a grant of £800 towards the estimated costs for labour and materials.
