REACH, Limavady

Part of the Limavady Community Development Initiative, the Roe Valley Equal Ability Community Hub is a social club established in January 2020 for the adult learning disability community in the legacy Limavady Council area.  REACH is inclusive of all abilities; welcomes everyone to their meetings and events; and is a great social outlet for its members and their families – providing fun, entertainment and a vast array of activities on a weekly basis.  The club applied for funding towards the purchase of coats with embroidered name and crest so that members can be easily identified when they are out as a group.  Understanding that the club felt this would assist greatly with members’ safety, the Committee was content to offer a grant of £1,200 – the full amount quoted for 40 coats.
