St Brigid’s Camogie Club, Armagh

Committed to providing a safe, fun and welcoming environment for young girls to engage and stay in sport through camogie; improving physical health and wellbeing of their players; while also improving the community, St Brigid’s Camogie Club sought funding to replace helmets, bibs, balls and first aid equipment which has become damaged and worn over time.  Hearing that the Club’s programme caters for over 100 children, young people and adults, and that services are offered free of charge to ensure no barriers are in place for families with little disposable income, the Committee was content to approve a Clothworkers’ grant of £978 for the items costed in their ‘shopping list’.
