St Columb’s Park House, Derry

An 18th century manor house situated in parkland outside the city walls, St Columb’s Park House has been hosting in its community training hub a voluntary history group who have researched and uncovered valuable and previously unknown information about the House.  The group now wished to present their findings in a small A5 publication – recognising and making available the very unique story within history and heritage, capturing the families who have lived in the House and covering significant events and connections.  Learning that many visitors to St Columb’s Park House ask for such a publication (so there is already a willing audience and wide distribution is anticipated), the Committee gladly approved a grant of £1,500 towards the design and print costs for an A5 booklet.
