St Patrick’s Gaelic Football Club, Lisnaskea

Founded in 1971, St Patrick’s GFC has been offering boys and young men from the Donagh and surrounding rural areas an opportunity to play Gaelic games and represent their village at the highest level possible for 50 years.  Now reaching out to men, women, boys and girls, the Club has continued to invest in its members on and off the field.  And their facilities are among the best in the county, with a new state of the art spectator grandstand, a changing complex, and social rooms.  Whilst the last 12 months has been a challenging time, the Club’s committee has been working diligently to prepare for sport and recreational activities post-COVID and looked to the Irish Society to help equip their recently refurbished community gym and fitness suite with an assault cardio bike and premium rowing machine, and using any remainder to purchase additional underage training and match footballs.  In line with Ederney St Joseph’s GAC, the Committee endorsed a grant of £600 from The Clothworkers’ NI Fund.
