Stendhal Festival Ltd, Limavady

Now in its 12^th year, and with a mission to increase creative capacity of indigenous artists and audience, Stendhal Festival has plans to repeat last year’s Yarnbombing (using street art to display colourful knitted or crocheted work in yarn or wool) in Limavady town centre – to thank key workers that had been at the frontline during Covid.  But to make it bigger and better in 2022 by working with care homes, sheltered accommodation and carer support organisations – and themes focussing on wellness through nature, the great outdoors and the environment.  The Committee was content to award of grant of £1,000 obo The Drapers’ Company towards materials, facilitator fees, printing and marketing costs, etc.
