Strabane Athletic Football Club

Established in 2010 to provide much needed sporting opportunities for the people of Strabane and surrounding areas, SAFC uses primarily football as a tool for engaging local people to partake in physical and competitive sporting activities on a daily basis.  Having recently seen a surge in membership, the Club sought funding towards 120 new footballs – enabling them to break down large groups into smaller sections, thus effectively managing capacity and minimising the risk of spreading Covid-19.  The Committee was content to award a Drapers’ grant of £700.
