The Irish Society Primary School Parents’ & Friends’ Association, Coleraine

Recently established to develop the children’s educational opportunities, the School’s Parents’ Association applied for funding to purchase and install a Cross-Curricular Orienteering Programme (package includes all tools such as signage, scheme of work, mapping, etc), together with the required training for staff and access to an active learning portal and resources.  Understanding that the purchase would be a long-term investment for the School – utilising and enhancing School grounds to make regular use as a learning platform (and building on the outdoor classroom area developed during the pandemic), the Committee approved a grant of £1,000 towards the purchase/project.
