Tummery Athletic Football Club, Dromore, Co. Tyrone

Based within the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council area, Tummery AFC is a not-for-profit amateur football club offering training and matches for both youth and adult teams from Dromore and surrounding towns and villages.  “Dedicated to providing a legacy of excellence”, and with a long term strategy to cater more for the wider community – over and above its football activity, the Club sought funding towards new sets of kit to provide additional opportunities and increased participation and social inclusion, particularly those playing at Under-13 level.  The Committee acknowledged that, due to squad capacity regulations within the league, the Club can currently only cater for 50% of this cohort and was content to agree with the offer of £850 from The Clothworkers’ NI Fund towards bespoke kits costed in the application.
